5. Have their parent or guardian complete & sign the consent form

K.O.D.’s recent cohort meets at the Whitehaven YMCA, every Wednesday at 3:30PM.

We primarily have youth from Whitehaven but we accept all young men who are fatherless, need a mentor or big brother figure. Each parent or guardian must be willing to drop off and pick their son up at the Whitehaven location. We have youth from 6 different schools; some of which are not in Whitehaven. 

The K.O.D. Rite of Passage Training is a 3-month long training that transforms boys into men. It is formulated through our unique curriculum that combines social emotional learning, business efficacy, financial literacy, physical health with forming community & identity development.

Due to high demand, we only accept 12-15 boys for the training. Anyone can join must pass a preliminary test & want to become a man. Those who complete it will be awarded at K.O.D.’s Manhood Ceremony; surrounded by family, friends, donors & previous participants.
